Enlarge My Coast
I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.
Luke 11:8 (KJV)
The Key word in this verse is the word ‘Importunity’
Importunity means = Pressing solicitation; urgent request; application for a claim or favor, which is urged with troublesome frequency or pertinacity.
I would like to ask, rather implore, that each of you would enter into a challenge with me for the next 30 days, beginning Father’s Day June 21, 2020. If you would allow me to share my heart regarding this for just a moment or so.
When we began to finish up 2019, we set into motion the closing of the year actions as well as the opening to the next year. Quite honestly, I was thrilled beyond measure for how well 2019 closed out and 2020 started off. Many things that had been done in the past were put into practice once again, however, by the Spirit of God, this time there was tremendous momentum, energy, and a wonderful sense of unity.
As the pastor, I could not have been any more pleased with things…and then everything came to a screeching halt. We do not need to rehash the events and situations that have occurred over the last several months, but if you are like me, it almost seems as though we are just NOW getting to begin the year! It is though the entirety of the first six months have been completely lost.
I believe this is why the Lord has led me to this challenge. The opportunity to seek, with importunity, after the Lord. With only 6 months remaining in this year, I believe there still is plenty of time to see God do a tremendous and wonderful work…to see Him Enlarge Our Coast! It is for this reason that, in like manner as the man who knocked on his friends door, seeking bread; we too knock on the doors of Heaven with our prayers, and seek our Friend, Jesus to help Enlarge Our Coast.

What do you I have to do Pastor? Just pray, pray, pray.
What are you going to do Pastor? I also will pray, of course, but additionally I will ensure that I send out a simple text reminder, twice per day. Once in the morning and once in the evening. When you get that text, either right then, or within a few moments, will you commit to stop and take just 60 seconds and pray. Pray that God will Enlarge Our Coast this year. Pray that God will do a greater and mightier work in and through us, Victory, than He has done ever before.
